Want to know about me? Here you go....

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale.

A place where you don’t have to have everything figured out, where you can show up exactly as you are, and where you don’t feel judged, rushed, or “fixed.”

Just understood.

I’m Christine Miller, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and for over 25 years I’ve had the privilege of sitting with people through some of the most difficult, complicated, and meaningful moments of their lives. Over the years, I’ve worked in many different roles...therapist, crisis counselor, program director, nonprofit leader, educator, and consultant. However, what has stayed constant is my passion for connecting with people in a real and genuine way.

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. Every person, every relationship, and every story is different. I work with individuals who are navigating life transitions, grief and loss, caregiving stress, and moments where things feel overwhelming or unclear. I tailor our work so that it fits you.... not the other way around.

Couples work is a true specialty in my practice. Relationships are complex, and good couples therapy requires more than just general clinical skill....it requires specific training, structure, and the ability to hold space for both partners at the same time. I am trained in the Gottman Method and bring a direct, balanced, and thoughtful approach to helping couples understand their patterns, improve communication, and rebuild connection. Whether couples are in crisis or simply feeling disconnected, I work to help them move toward a healthier, more honest, and more stable relationship.

I also offer group experiences that reflect what people are actually looking for today. These are not traditional, one-size-fits-all groups where you sit quietly and listen. My groups are intentional, engaging, and designed to feel relevant and supportive. Whether focused on relationships, personal growth, caregiving, or shared life experiences.... they are spaces where people can connect, learn, and feel less alone in a way that feels meaningful and real.

Clients often tell me that they feel comfortable with me quickly. I think that’s because I show up as myself. I am direct when it’s helpful, gentle when it’s needed, and always present. I will sit with you in the hard moments, but I will also help you make sense of what you’re going through and find a way forward that feels realistic and meaningful for your life. Therapy with me is a collaborative process. We work together to understand patterns, build insight, and create change that actually feels sustainable.

In addition to my clinical work, I’ve spent much of my career building and leading mental health programs throughout New Jersey. I’ve worked closely with schools, courts, law enforcement, and community organizations to improve how we respond to crisis, support families, and create stronger systems of care. I continue to provide training and consultation to professionals and organizations, and I truly enjoy helping others grow in their work and feel more confident in the impact they’re making.

All of these experiences have shaped how I show up as a therapist. They’ve given me a deep understanding of people, systems, and the many layers that influence our lives. But, more importantly, they’ve reinforced something I’ve always believed: people don’t need to be “fixed.” They need to be understood, supported, and given the space to figure things out in a way that feels right for them.

If you choose to work with me, you can expect a space that feels grounded, honest, and supportive. A space where you don’t have to carry everything on your own, and where we can take the time to understand your story, at your pace.

I am here.

You are not alone.

If you are ready to talk, I am ready to listen.
